The bag is perfect, excellent leather quality. But the canvas strap is flimsy, very thin and doesn’t give the bag justice.
The wallet is made of soft, supple leather in a gorgeous shade of red, beautifully crafted as expected.The black edges are a bit prominent on the red leather but otherwise a very attractive piece
I love how great the leather feels and smells. You could really tell me what it was a high-quality leather and product. The stitching is great, too. I would’ve given it a 5-star rating if it wasn’t for the card pockets. The card pockets cut are, I think, too thin which makes it a bit hard to put cards in. Overall, I love it and so happy that I bought it!
I just received my Helen crossbody bag in Babylon Blue crafted in Ubrique, Spain.
What a sensual experience touching this bag for the first time! It is so soft and smooth I found myself rubbing it against my cheek. The shrunken lambskin has some texture, the inside calfskin is smooth. The leather scent is pleasant and not overpowering. Overall my first impression is: I want another one!
What I can fit in the bag next to each other: my large size iPhone, reading glasses in a case, slender bifold wallet. On the ends I can fit my asthma inhaler, lip moisturizer, and two tiny pouches for medications, etc.
The zippered interior compartment is big enough for the enormous French carte d’identité, so definitely big enough for standard size US drivers licenses, credit cards. I could slip my bifold wallet in, but I can’t zip the pocket.
I was really pleased I could fit my reading glasses in as well as my phone and medication. If you want to carry sunglasses in addition, you can put them on top of the other stuff, but it won’t be as convenient.
I wish more purse makers would realize that women over 40 usually need space for reading glasses AND sunglasses and make the purses just that much bigger.
I am very happy with my passport wallet, the leather feels great, and the burgundy color is vibrant. Quality of stitching and craftsmanship give great confidence that I'll be enjoying this wallet for decades.
Belt was very high quality in materials, only complaint is sizing is a bit big and a little loose at the end. But very good

The order is NOT shipped from EU so you have to pay ca 30% extra with tax AND custom!!! The service is a joke! I wanted to support a small leathermaker and end in a disaster. NEVER AGAIN!!!

We’re sorry to hear about your experience. As noted in our customs warning email sent the same day you ordered, international shipments may incur customs fees determined by the courier upon arrival. EU customers can avoid these fees if the item ships from our Spain workshop, but this depends on stock availability.
We also encourage customers to inquire about the shipping location before fulfillment (which was noted in the customs warning email), but we didn’t receive any inquiry from your end, so the team proceeded as usual. Since the Senior Togo was only available in our Dallas workshop, it was shipped from there.
Our policy states that rejecting a shipment due to customs fees may not always allow for a recall. If recall is possible, any associated costs will be deducted from the refund. Otherwise, we recommend processing the customs fees with the courier.

I absolutely love my tote bag, I feel like I’ve waited my whole mom life for a bag this cute! However, like many tote bags of this size, the corners are prone to quick wear and tear. It would be great to have some added support or protection, especially for the corners and base. I have a camera bag with small metal feet that help keep it off the ground, and a similar feature on this tote would really help maintain its beauty and longevity. I take as much care as I can, but a little extra reinforcement would go a long way!

I can’t believe how incredibly high quality this leather wallet is. I was somewhat skeptical, but it is so heavy, so thick, and *smells* like real leather. Do you remember walking into your grandma’s closet and taking a whiff of all those natural fibers she had stowed in there? Who know it would be some of the highest quality garments in the next 40 years—but I’m sure this wallet would fit right in. I love my watch band too, unrelated, but together these two make the perfect pair! It feels more luxury than any designer handbag I own, and I have several Louis Vuitton in my collection!

The bag meets the expectations i had, definitely a premium leather briefcase. Excellent craftsmanship, its just as advertised in the pictures. I love that everything is leather, even the interior lining. The top does lose its boxy shape but it does not bother me. The top leather around the zipper could be stiffened to keep its shape better, but it’s such a minimal issue for me. I have received many many many compliments. Definitely a subdued statement piece, for those who appreciate leather and quality without the luxury “flashiness”. In line with Tanner’s leather philosophy which i agree with.
Purchased this back pack as a gift for my husband and he sure do love every bit of it. A little bit heavy even when empty, but it just goes to show that the materials used are of good quality that will last longer. The strap of the backpack has that feel of a leather belt and fits comfortably on the shoulder. The design is excellent and we love that the bag has got lots of pockets. Craftsmanship is top tier.
Beautiful work. Simple design. I like the removable straps if I want to change to a short handle for nice occasion/event.
Because it’s a Togo leather shoulder strap, you almost won’t accept anything of lower quality with the bag 😄 (Pegai, please make Togo short straps for those that like a short handle with this bag)
I’d like to make a point that the quality of the chain strap is different (the one I received are 2-toned) The leather’s quality is captivating, it’s easy for me to overlook everything else.
