After I bought this bag I immediately treated it with DUBBING (a leather treatment with oils and lanolin) just an old way of looking after leather softening and waterproofing it. I have found this bag to be hardy, strong (thick leather), easy to use, handles all conditions and comfortable. It fits easily over your shoulder. I have treated it pretty roughly. The only problem I’ve found is where the metal ring connects to the bag from the carry sling is it broke clean off, I have a bag that is really good but because the metal connections are weak and the leather loop for the ring broke, I cannot repair it at a cobbler, see photo below. Can the makers make a stronger leather connection loop. It has lasted me a few years now, Thanks PEGAI a good bag.

Honestly love the leather. It’s small and compact which I like but this maybe a personal preference. Fits my small surface laptop perfectly. No frills bag with minimal pockets. Things to consider. The leather is not soft. Meaning it’s not pliable. Over time this might change. The only thing I would add to the design would be adding a handle to the top as it is difficult to carry if you are not using the strap.

Hello, I recently purchased the black messenger ray bag and I have to say the bag is way too small. Yes it’s my fault perhaps in some ways that I didn’t check the width and all but it would be better to mention those in a picture with the length written on its sides as well as the bottom (for example as I do in this pic) because for many people they don’t check that and think that the bag in itself is big but when they receive the order they get shocked by it’s size. Thank you. It’s a good leather but if the whole thing including the strap would be entirely made of leather it would’ve been great. I hope this review reaches out to the pegai team as well as the owner.

Superior quality, fantastic workmanship. Works really well with my MacBook Air 13” and enough room for my 12.9” iPad Pro as well (with Magic Keyboard). The interior pockets are a little tight, and it would have been nice to have some additional roomier pockets, maybe not made of leather (to more securely hold the charging brick and other items). But overall, this is just an amazing beautiful and well made bag.
