I bought this belt to replace a similar Coach belt that's about 12 years old. The leather on this is, of course, beautiful. It seems more pliable, so we'll see how it performs in the long-run, but the pebble is gorgeous (esp on the brown side), and the hardware is nearly identical to that from Coach (which has been very durable - probably the same supplier?). I asked before buying if it was cut-to-size, and it is! This makes my life so easy, as I've been losing some weight and prefer the cut option as the leather naturally stretches. The stitching is flawless and will keep it durable.
The one thing I'm curious about is the raw edge vs. painted. Since it's JUST leather and no textile strip in between, maybe this is just unnecessary? I think I might prefer the polished look of a painted edge (and could easily add it myself), but it might mean more maintenance than less. We'll see!
The great part is everything above shows me this belt is comparable to or possibly superior than my long-lived Coach belt, but the price was significantly less!
Great stuff!
